‘Refined’ project triangle strategy based on demo feedback


Square Enix’s tactical RPG Triangular strategy – formerly known as Triangle Strategy Project made an appearance on the Nintendo Direct on Thursday, and now it has an official release date: March 4, 2022.

Nintendo and Square Enix first teamed up to reveal Triangular strategy in February. A free demo of the game was also posted on Nintendo eShop in February, and Square Enix has collected player feedback on the game. The Nintendo Direct advertiser said that feedback played a role in the development:

“In response to the demo survey released in February of this year, the game has been refined with a focus on items that received a lot of feedback. These include difficulty adjustments, improvements to on-screen visuals, camera angle controls, the ability to review previous dialogues, and streamlined gameplay and load times.

Triangular strategy is the latest title from the creators of Octopath traveler; it’s a turn-based tactics game Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Players control a wide variety of party members – mages, knights, archers, and more. – and guide them through battles in a fantasy world.

The main protagonist of the game, Serenoa Wolffort, is the heir to one of the greatest houses in the world. In its place, players have the power to change the world around them by making key decisions. Triangular strategyThe story of s will involve a lot of “choices and consequences”, with the narrative path of the game changing depending on Wolffort’s actions.

Square Enix will launch the game exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
